Eikei University of Hiroshima, EUH, is a new public university established in 2021. EUH is a undergraduate liberal arts school and a name of department is called “Social System Design”. Our liberal arts courses enables students study a wide range of academic disciplines, including humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. All of the courses offered are related to the 17 goals of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to understand real-world issues facing all humanity.

A curriculum specializing in practical learning
In our Project-Based Learning courses, students collaborate with 180 partner organizations (including business enterprises, NPOs/NGOs, and international institutions) to explore the causes and solutions of operational challenges these organizations face.
Exchange Programs with 35 Universities in 23 Countries and regions
All students have opportunities to participate in exchange programs at our 35 partner universities in 23 countries and regions worldwide up to one year. The university offers financial aids, 50,000 JPY monthly during exchange period.
Comprehensive Scholarship Programs
As a public university, annual tuition fees are significantly lower compared to private universities. Additionally, international students benefit from tuition waiver programs (50% tuition deduction) and other grant-based scholarships.
Diverse Campus
With 70 international students from 23 countries enrolled as full-time students as of 2025, international students make up approx. 20% of the total student body, creating a highly diverse campus.
A 15-story building serves as the university campus
Located in central Hiroshima City, the university campus occupies a 15-story building. The campus building includes a cafeteria, convenience store, library room, and student dormitories. Its location offers extremely convenient access to shopping and entertainment facilities.
“Foresight” is the ability to discover the core problems caused by changes in society by developing a multifaceted perspective based on broad knowledge, foreseeing the future with a global perspective and conceptual thinking.
“Strategy” is the ability to develop integrated solutions strategically by collecting, researching and analyzing information and learning with logical thinking utilizing ICT literacy.
“Global collaboration” is the ability to utilize high language proficiency and communication skills for collaborating with people from different cultures and values, respecting social and individual diversity and building credible relationships with them.
“Energetic drive” is the ability to proactively take on and pursue challenges demonstrating leadership and perseverance without avoiding difficulties.
“Self-improvement” is the ability to improve oneself through lifelong learning with high motivation and morality.
